My Artistic Illustration Journey

I am a freelance illustrator based in Berlin, specializing in bringing stories to life with vibrant and expressive artwork. My goal is to illustrate books that make children’s eyes light up and touch hearts. I`m also illustrating books for adults, as classic stories or new ones.
After completing my training as a Media Designer in Digital and Print (graduated in 2016), I focused entirely on pursuing my creative passion. Since 2019, I have been running my own business, offering art prints of my illustrations, original paintings, postcards, bookmarks, and more.
At the beginning of my illustration journey, I illustrated and published two books, which gave me valuable insights into the entire book production process.
I also create editorial illustrations for articles and covers in the magazine publishing industry.

My book "Near Neighbors, far away Friends" is a finalist in the Silent Book Contest 2025.

Objective
I am always looking for exciting stories and projects to enrich with my illustrations. Through my work, I aim to build a bridge between imagination and reality, creating images that stay in the hearts and minds of readers for a long time.
Techniques and Style
My children's book illustrations are created using watercolor, acrylic, pencils, oil, digital techniques, or a combination of mixed media. I place great emphasis on emotional expressiveness and detailed compositions that appeal to both children and adults.

Künstlerischer Werdegang

Ich bin freiberufliche Illustratorin aus Berlin und darauf spezialisiert, Geschichten mit lebendigen und ausdrucksstarken Bildern zum Leben zu erwecken. Mein Ziel ist es, Bücher zu illustrieren, die Kinder- und Erwachsenenaugen zum Leuchten bringen und Herzen berühren.
Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Mediengestalterin Digital und Print (Abschluss 2016) habe ich meine kreative Leidenschaft in den Mittelpunkt gestellt. Seit 2019 führe ich ein eigenes Unternehmen, in dem ich Kunstdrucke meiner Illustrationen, Originalgemälde, Postkarten, Lesezeichen und mehr anbiete.
Zu Beginn meiner Illustrationslaufbahn habe ich zwei Kinderbücher illustriert und veröffentlicht. Dadurch konnte ich wertvolle Einblicke in den gesamten Buchproduktionsprozess gewinnen.
Zudem gestalte ich Illustrationen für Artikel und Cover im Magazinverlag.

Ziel
Ich bin stets auf der Suche nach Geschichten und Projekten, die ich durch meine Illustrationen bereichern kann. Mit meiner Arbeit möchte ich eine Brücke zwischen Fantasie und Realität schlagen und Bilder schaffen, die lange in Erinnerung bleiben.
Maltechniken und Stil
Meine Kinderbuch-Illustrationen entstehen in Aquarell, Acryl, mit Buntstiften, digital oder durch Mixed Media. Dabei lege ich besonderen Wert auf atmosphärische Kompositionen, die sowohl Kinder als auch Erwachsene begeistern.
